It’s officially summer! July is a great time for catching some sun and scenery in a vacation destination. It also happens to be prime time – Amazon Prime Day time, to be exact. Lots of companies are having semi-annual sales, but Amazon leads the charge in July savings events.

Part of planning the perfect trip is making sure you have the right gear. I have purchased many, MANY items from Amazon, but Amazon has particularly become my go-to for travel accessories. Here are seven of the best travel accessories I’ve purchased on Amazon.

Amazon Must-Have Travel Product

Rockland Melbourne Hard-Sided Luggage Set

I received the 2-piece Rockland Melbourne luggage set for Christmas about seven years ago and it has been a mainstay ever since. The 28-inch large suitcase is more than enough room to pack for an extended trip and the 20-inch suitcase is a spacious yes manageable carry-on. The hard-sided design has survived many trips by car and plane, domestic and international. This affordable set comes in a whopping 32 colors and designs.

The 3-piece variety of the Melbourne set is the #1 Best Seller in Luggage on Amazon, but it’s far from the only collection Rockland offers. While you look at this set, be sure to check out the soft-sided luggage, duffel bags, backpacks, and other travel accessories that the Rockland store has to offer on Amazon.

Bukere Carry-On Garment Bag

If you are a business traveler or one to partake in fancy fare on your trips, you have probably run into a familiar dilemma with your dressy clothes. Do I pack a separate garment bag, or do I stuff my clothes in my suitcase and hope for the best? The Bukere Carry-on Garment Bag is a game-changing accessory.

I bought this bag last year when I made a weekend trip to a formal event. This bag looks like a large duffle bag at first appearance, but there’s more than meets the eye. Opening the garment bag fully reveals a garment bag complete with tie and accessory compartments. Simply pack your suits, dresses, and gowns in the garment compartment, then roll and zip the bag into its duffle form and pack the rest of your stuff.

It also boasts a shoe compartment and a plethora of pockets. This bag is smaller than a traditional carry-on but way bigger than standard duffel bags. I have managed to carry almost a week’s worth of clothes, toiletries, and multiple pairs of shoes. The Bukere Carry-on Garment Bag is waterproof. I initially spied this bag in four solid traditional colors, but if you visit the Bukere store, you can find two more – a bubblegum pink and black floral. This bag is easily in the top three of my must-have travel accessories.

YAMIU Packing Cubes

Packing cubes don’t always save space, but they can definitely help you make the most of it. It’s almost inevitable – you pack for a flight and get to your destination, only to find your stuff has shifted. Or, after a few days in a hotel, you’ve sifted through your items so much that they are in disarray.

I like a place for everything and Yamiu Packing Cubes help me make that happen when I travel. This versatile set includes five cubes of a variety of sizes, which is great for up-and-down-sizing luggage by trip. The shoe bag is very spacious and the clear storage is great for toiletries. These packing cubes are essential travel accessories for the organized traveler.

MATEIN Hanging Makeup Bag

A good toiletry bag is another essential travel accessory for the savvy traveler. Toiletries can get out of hand easily in your suitcase and are hard to wrangle in hotel bathrooms. The Matein Hanging Makeup Bag is the perfect solution for keeping your toiletries organized and easy to carry.

This is so much more than a makeup bag. It’s a full valet for all your personal care needs. On the outside are two zip compartments. One is a fold-out compartment with slots for makeup brushes and other tools, as well as a mesh zipper compartment. The other is a deep zipper compartment on the back. Inside are four compartments, both mesh and clear plastic.

Besides the generous sizes of the pouches, my favorite feature of the Matein Hanging Makeup bag is the 360-degree hook. This means your bag will hang correctly on both hooks and towel bars.

Matein only offers this specific style of bag in black, but their store has a variety of similar styles and other beautiful storage for home and the road.

Lermende Clear Toiletry Bag

While the Matein Hanging Makeup Bag is great for driving trips, flying creates another set of challenges for your travel accessories to fix. The Transporation Safety Administration (TSA) requires all liquids to adhere to the 3-1-1 rule. “Each passenger may carry liquids, gels, and aerosols in travel-size containers that are 3.4 ounces or100 milliliters. Each passenger is limited to one quart-size bag of liquids, gels, and aerosols,” says TSA.

It’s easy to look at products and tell their volume, but who knows what a quart-sized bag looks like to the naked eye? I, mean, yes, Ziplock bags are marked this way, but if you’re traveling a distance, you’re going to want something studier.

That’s where the Lermende Clear Toiletry Bags come in handy. This bag is already TSA compliant and can be ordered trimmed in your choice of five different colors.

SHRRADOO Extra Large 50L Travel Laptop Backpack

I’ll cut to the chase – I pretty much don’t travel anywhere without this bag. Sometimes there are trips where I need a laptop, but it’s too short to justify a whole separate bag. The Shrradoo Extra Large Backpack more than delivers.

This bag has a fold-down laptop compartment that makes airport security a breeze. (By the way, if you don’t have TSA Precheck, GET IT.) The two additional large compartments are spacious enough for close and toiletries, and the outer features are great for small items. It even comes with a hookup for a portable charging bank. No more fighting with Rude Rachel over the last working outlet in the terminal.

True travel backpacks are measured in liters. At 50L, this Shrradoo Laptop Backpack is as Extra Large as the name suggests, while still being able to fit under most average airline seats. If you need even more space, check this bag’s 52L cousin.

iClever Bluetooth Keyboard

Travel accessories don’t just make you more organized, they make us more productive and efficient. Traveling can either interfere with work or give you uninterrupted time to concentrate. Packing a laptop is often necessary but it is one more thing to pack. And it can be heavy and cumbersome to handle. On short flights stowing your laptop for takeoff and landing can be a pain in the butt.

The iClever Bluetooth keyboard helps your small devices do much of what your laptop can with the right accessories in a fraction of the space. This keyboard is rechargeable, backlit, and can be connected to multiple devices at a time. And when you’re done, it collapses to less than half its full size. As a bonus, it comes with a stand for your phone. When you’re not using the keyboard you can still use the stand to stream your favorite in-flight entertainment.
