I Got a Nude Attitude! Nudestix Intense Matte Lip+Cheek Duo

Another product I bought in Vegas was the Nudestix Intense Matte Lip+Cheek Duo. I stumbled across Nudestix on an end cap in Sephora in the Caesars Forum Shoppes. I had never seen or heard of the brand before, but I was immediately pulled in by their all pencil/crayon concept.
Nudestix is a collection of pencils and crayons for face, lips, and eyes that are intended to give you a natural, nude look (hence the name). Nudestix products have no preservatives, parabens or gluten, and they are cruelty-free.
I was impressed by the wide range of products available, but it was the multi-use products that sucked me in. Nudestix also has several products that are dual-ended, whether they are two products or a product and applicator. The dual lip and cheek pencils come in three varieties: Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Duo, the Cream Lip+Cheek Pencil, and the Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm. I decided to dip into the Nudestix world with the Intense Matte Lip+Cheek Duo.
The Product
The Nudestix Intense Matte Lip+Cheek Duo is matte lip color and blush in one. It is meant to be long-wearing without feathering, smudging, or transferring. It comes in 12 intense shades, both nude and bold. The pencil is packaged in a cool matte black tin with a mirror in the lid. It also comes with a free sharpener (read: brownie points). I purchased the pencil for $24.00 in the shade Raven.

The Verdict
It was love at first sight. The pencil is nice and soft, and it glides onto lips and cheeks like a champ. The color is intense, opaque, and absolutely gorgeous. Although it is very matte, it is non-drying. On top of looking and feeling beautiful, this pencil performed from curtain to curtain to curtain. The first time I wore it, I applied at 10am, ate lunch, drank sodas, and ran my mouth all day in meetings. By 6pm, it had not budged. I touched up because I wanted to, not because I had to.
Rating: High and Migh-T!!!
I can’t say enough good things about the Nudestix Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil, and I can’t wait to try other Nudestix products. I was initially apprehensive about pay $24.00 for a lip crayon, but it was worth every cent.
You can purchase Nudestix at http://www.nudestix.com, or Sephora and Ulta.
